How to Turn Off Salary Cap in NBA 2K21 MyTEAM. Learn how to turn off the salary cap in NBA 2K21 MyTEAM so you can have a more realistic and challenging experience.
Open the NBA 2K21 game
Open the NBA 2K21 game. Go to “MyTEAM” from the main menu. Select “Options” from the sub-menu. Scroll down to the “Advanced Options” setting. Turn off the “Enable Salary Cap” setting.
Go to “MyGM/MyLEAGUE”
In the main menu, go to “Features” then “MyGM/MyLEAGUE”. Select “League Settings” from the options. Look for the setting labeled “Hard Cap” and make sure it is turned off. If it is on, your team will not be able to exceed the salary cap when signing free agents or making trades.
Select “Options”
At the main menu, select “Options”, then choose the ” gameplay” option. Scroll down to the “Quarter Length” setting and set it to “12 minutes”. This will allow you to play full 12 minute quarters.
