How to Update Your NBA Jam Roster

Updating your NBA Jam roster is a snap with these easy steps.

Go to “Options”

At the main menu, go to “Options” and then “Roster Management”. From there, you can view the current roster, as well as any created rosters. You can also create a new roster from scratch or edit an existing one. To edit a player, simply select the player and then press the “Edit” button.

Select “Manage Roster”

On the main menu, select “Features” and then “Manage Roster.” Alternatively, you can hold down the R Trigger button on your controller while you’re on the main menu. As you scroll through the list of teams, each team’s roster will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

Choose “Update Roster”

To update your NBA Jam roster, open the game and choose “Update Roster” from the main menu. You’ll be prompted to select the roster file you want to use. Choose the most recent file from the list and confirm your selection. The game will then download and install the updated roster.

Wait for the update to download

The first step is to make sure your game is up-to-date. The current version of NBA Jam (as of this writing) is Version 1.0.4.0. If you’re playing an older version of the game, you won’t be able to update your roster. To check which version you have, select “Settings” from the main menu, then “About”, and finally “Version”.

Once you’ve confirmed that you’re running the latest version of the game, boot up NBA Jam and select “Roster” from the main menu. From there, select “Update Roster”. The game will now check for any available updates. If there are any, they will begin downloading automatically. Depending on the size of the update and the speed of your internet connection, this process could take a few minutes.
