Bo Dallas’ Early Career

Bo Dallas was born on September 9, 1990, in Brooksville, Florida, to Angela and Mike Rotunda. Bo’s grandfather is Blackjack Mulligan, and his uncles are Barry and Kendall Windham. Dallas began his professional wrestling career in 2008, when he was 18 years old.

His time in NXT

Bo Dallas made his NXT debut in 2012 and quickly became one of the brand’s top stars. He won the NXT Championship in 2013 and held it for almost five months. Dallas was then called up to the main roster in 2014, but he struggled to find his place on WWE’s main shows. He was eventually relegated to WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, where he became a two-time NXT Champion. Dallas was released from WWE in 2020.

His time on the main roster

Bo Dallas spent most of his time on the main roster as a tag team wrestler. He was paired with Curtis Axel and they won the WWE Tag Team Championship once. Dallas and Axel were later both drafted to Raw in the 2018 Superstar Shake-up. The team split up not long after, and Dallas was sent back to NXT. He has not been seen on WWE television since.

His time on Raw

Since making his return to WWE television in early 2016, Bo Dallas has been a staple on Monday Night Raw. After losing a few matches upon his return, Bo turned things around and began to rack up the wins. He even managed to capture the United States Championship from Rusev in 2017. However, he would eventually lose the title back to Rusev a few months later.

In early 2018, it was announced that Bo Dallas would be taking part in the men’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. This would mark Bo’s first ever Chamber match. Even though he didn’t win the match, he put on a good showing.

Throughout the rest of 2018 and into 2019, Bo Dallas continued to compete on Raw. He even teamed up with Curtis Axel to form a tag team called The B-Team. The B-Team would go on to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships from Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy in 2018. They held onto the titles for two months before losing them back to Wyatt and Hardy.

Bo Dallas is currently still signed with WWE and is a member of the Raw roster.

His time on SmackDown

In 2016, Dallas was drafted to SmackDown as part of the brand extension. He made his main roster debut on the July 26 episode of SmackDown, losing to Dolph Ziggler.[43] The following week, he defeated Zack Ryder. After a few more losses, he won a battle royal on the September 27 episode of SmackDown to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, but failed to win the title from The Miz two days later on WWE Superstars. On December 4 at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Dallas competed in a six-man ladder match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship, which was won by Baron Corbin. At Roadblock on December 18, Dallas defeated Curtis Axel.

Where Is Bo Dallas Now?

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Bo Dallas on WWE programming. The last time Bo was on WWE TV was back in April 2018. So, what has Bo been up to since then? Let’s take a look.

His current status

Bo Dallas is currently signed to WWE and is assigned to their developmental territory NXT, where he is a one-time NXT Champion.

Dallas made his main roster debut on the November 18, 2013 episode of Raw, as Bray Wyatt’s “fake” Wyatt Family member. After the original stable disbanded, Dallas became a singles wrestler on Raw. On the June 2, 2014 episode of Raw, he won his first WWE match against WWE Superstar R-Truth. From July 2014 onwards, Dallas began teaming up with Damien Sandow as The Miztourage; Sandow and Dallas would help The Miz retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions. The team split in early 2017 when Miz turned on Sandow and kicked him out of The Miztourage. Bo continued to feud with Miz for the next few months before both Superstars were drafted to SmackDown LIVE as part of the Superstar Shake-up in April 2017.

On the November 7, 2017 episode of SmackDown LIVE, Dallas defeated Sami Zayn to become the new Intercontinental Champion; this was his first championship win on the main roster. He lost the title back to Zayn less than two weeks later at Survivor Series. He then disappeared from television due to an injury. Bo made his return on the May 15, 2018 episode of NXT, losing to Aleister Black in a singles match. On the July 4 2018 episode of NXT, he defeated Adam Cole to win the vacant NXT Championship; this was his first reign with the title. He lost it back to Cole less than two months later at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV in a ladder match also involving Ricochet and Pete Dunne; this was his final match for NXT as he was drafted back to SmackDown LIVE as part of the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-up later that month..

His future in WWE

his future in WWE is still up in the air. In an interview with Sportskeeda, Bo stated that he would like to stay with the company, but he is not sure what the future holds.

“As of right now, I don’t know what the future holds. I would love to stay with WWE. I’ve been with WWE for eight years now and it’s been an amazing ride. I’ve had ups and downs, but it’s been an amazing experience, and I’ve loved every minute of it.

But as of right now, I don’t know what the future holds. We’ll have to wait and see.”
