Is Hulk Hogan In Wwe 2K20?

With the release of WWE 2K20, fans are wondering if Hulk Hogan will be making a return to the game. Here’s what we know so far.

Is Hulk Hogan In Wwe 2K20?

Hulk Hogan’s History in WWE

Hulk Hogan is one of the most famous wrestlers in the world. He has wrestled for many different promotions, including the WWE. He is currently not signed with the WWE, but he has made occasional appearances for the promotion.

His first WWE run

Hulk Hogan’s first WWE run was from 1984 to 1993. He was the face of the company during that time, winning the WWE Championship six times. He also headlined WrestleMania I and II, which are widely considered two of the most important WWE events ever. Hogan left WWE in 1993 due to creative differences, but he returned in 2002 and remained with the company until 2007.

His second WWE run

Hulk Hogan’s second WWE run began on the February 21, 2002 episode of SmackDown!, when he saved The Rock from an attack by Mr. McMahon, Ric Flair and Vince’s son Shane. This led to a storyline feud between Hogan and Flair, with the two facing each other at WrestleMania 18. Hogan won the match, but Flair retained his position as on-screen General Manager of SmackDown!.

His time in TNA

After leaving WWE in 2003, Hogan signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he became the on-screen general manager of the promotion. He was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2013. However, his return to WWE in 2014 was met with mixed reactions. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

The Possibility of Hulk Hogan in WWE 2K20

There have been a lot of rumors going around about whether or not Hulk Hogan will be in WWE 2K20. While we can’t say for sure one way or the other, there are a few things that point to the possibility of him being in the game. Let’s take a look at what we know.

The rumor mill

As the release of WWE 2K20 looms ever closer, the rumor mill surrounding the game is starting to churn. One of the most persistent rumors is that Hulk Hogan will be making a return to the WWE 2K franchise in WWE 2K20.

This rumor has been circulating for months, and it seems to be gaining more traction as we get closer to the release of WWE 2K20. While there has been no official confirmation from either WWE or 2K Games, there have been a few tantalizing clues that suggest that Hulk Hogan could indeed be making a return to WWE 2K in WWE 2K20.

One of the biggest pieces of evidence is that Hulk Hogan was recently spotted at a motion capture studio in Los Angeles. This is the same studio that has been used for previous WWE 2K games, and it seems highly unlikely that Hogan would be there for any other reason than to record motion capture for WWE 2K20.

Another clue comes from the voice actor Sayyid El Alami, who did the motion capture for The Rock in WWE 2K18. Recently, El Alami posted a picture on social media of himself in a mo-cap suit, with the caption “guess who’s back.” This has led many to believe that he is hinting at his involvement with WWE 2K20, and that he could potentially be playing Hulk Hogan in the game.

While these are all just rumors at this point, it’s certainly possible that Hulk Hogan could make his return to WWE 2K in WWE 2K20. Only time will tell if this rumor turns out to be true.

What Hogan has said

In recent months, both Hulk Hogan and WWE have been very open about the possibility of the former world champion returning to WWE programming.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Hogan said that he has been in talks with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about a possible return.

“I’ve talked to Vince [McMahon] a few times now,” Hogan said. “I think it’s looking really good for next year. I think everyone is excited about it and hopefully we can make it happen.”

In a separate interview with ComicBook.com, Hogan indicated that he would like to return to WWE programming as a wrestler, rather than in a non-physical role.

“I’ve made no secret that I want to get back in the ring,” Hogan said. “I think that’s why Vince McMahon and I have been talking so much lately because he knows that’s what I want to do more than anything.”

What WWE has said

In a statement to IGN, a WWE representative confirmed that while Hulk Hogan is not featured in WWE 2K20, they have not ruled out his inclusion in future games.

“While he is not playable in WWE 2K20, we have not ruled out his inclusion in future WWE 2K titles,”

Why Hulk Hogan May Not Be In WWE 2K20

One of the most iconic wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan, may not be in WWE 2K20 due to his recent legal troubles. Hogan was fired from WWE in 2015 after audio of him making racist remarks was leaked. He has since tried to make a comeback, but WWE has been reluctant to bring him back due to the negative publicity he would bring.

His age

At 64 years old, Hulk Hogan is one of the oldest wrestlers to ever compete in WWE. While many fans would still love to see him back in the ring, his age may make that impossible. WWE 2K20 will feature wrestlers from several different eras, but it’s doubtful that Hogan will be included due to his age and the fact that he hasn’t wrestled in years.

His health

Hogan has been battling some health issues in recent years. In January, he underwent back surgery, which keeping him out of action for several months. Hogan also revealed in November 2017 that he has been dealing with a “serious” knee injury that will eventually require surgery.

Due to these health issues, it’s possible that Hogan’s in-ring career is over. If that’s the case, it would make sense for WWE to leave him out of 2K20.

In July 2018, after an eight-year legal battle, Hulk Hogan was awarded $140 million in damages from Gawker Media. The website, which is now defunct, had published a sex tape of Hogan in 2012. Hogan’s suit claimed that the tape was filmed without his knowledge or consent.

In November 2018, it was revealed that Hogan had used racial slurs in the sex tape. He was subsequently fired from WWE and removed from WWE 2K16. He has not appeared in a WWE game since.

It’s unclear if Hogan will ever be reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame or if he will ever appear in a WWE game again. His legal troubles and use of racial slurs make it unlikely that he will be featured in WWE 2K20.
