2019 class
The 2019 class for IU basketball is one to watch out for. With several highly rated recruits, the team is looking to make a big impact in the upcoming season Who are some of the players to keep an eye on?
Romeo Langford is a five-star recruit and the number two player in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. The six-foot-six small forward from New Albany, Indiana is a versatile player who can score from anywhere on the court. He’s also a good defender and rebounder, making him a well-rounded player that any team would love to have.
Another five-star recruit in the 2019 class is Keion Brooks Jr. The six-foot-seven small forward from Fort Wayne Indiana is known for his athleticism and rebounding ability. He’s also a good shooter, which makes him a threat on both ends of the court.
Point guard Robert Phinisee is another one to watch out for. The four-star recruit from Lafayette, Indiana is a good shooter and distributor of the ball. He has great vision and always seems to make the right play.

2020 class
The class of 2020 is shaping up to be an exciting one for Indiana Basketball fans. Here are a few names to keep an eye on:
-Tony Bradley: A 6’10” center from Florida, Bradley is ranked as the #13 player in the country by ESPN. He’s a big, physical presence in the paint who is already drawing comparisons to NBA All-Star Anthony Davis
--Miles Bridges A 6’6″ small forward from Huntington, West Virginia Bridges is ranked as the #19 player in the country by ESPN. He’s a high-flying athlete with tremendous scoring and rebounding ability.
-Edrice Adebayo: A 6’10” Power Forward from New Jersey, Adebayo is ranked as the #25 player in the country by ESPN. He’s a versatile big man who can score inside and out, and he’s also an excellent rebounder and shot blocker.
2021 class
The 2021 class is one of the most talented in recent memory, and there are a few players that IU fans should keep an eye on.
5-star Small Forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. is the consensus top player in the class and someone that IU has been recruiting for a while. He has the size and skill to be a high-level scorer at the next level and would be a great get for the Hoosiers.
Another 5-star prospect, shooting guard Jaden Hardy, is also somebody that IU has been linked to. Hardy is one of the best shooters in the class and would be a dangerous weapon on offense. His ability to space the floor would be a huge asset for any team, and he would be a great complement to some of IU’s other offensive weapons.
Lastly, point guard Kennedy Chandler is someone that IU has also been targeting. Chandler is a dynamic playmaker that can get his teammates involved while also being a threat to score himself. His speed and quickness would make him tough to defend, and he has the potential to be a star at the next level.

5-star recruits
The class of 2019 is loaded with five-star talent, and there are a few prospects that stand out above the rest.
Rimas Kaukenas is a 6-foot-8 small forward from Lithuania who is currently ranked as the No. 1 small forward in the class by ESPN. He has great size and length for his position and is an excellent shooter, especially from beyond the arc. Moses Brown is a 7-foot center from Queens, New York who is currently ranked as the No. 2 center in the class by ESPN. Brown is a physical specimen with superb athleticism and a tremendous wingspan. He is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker, and he has also shown some ability to score around the basket.
Romeo Langford is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from New Albany, Indiana who is currently ranked as the No. 1 shooting guard in the class by ESPN. Langford is an elite scorer with a great feel for the game. He can score from anywhere on the court and has an excellent mid-range game. Langford is also a very good rebounder for his position and has shown the ability to be a good defender at times.
4-star recruits
There are four star recruits that have verbally committed to IU for the class of 2019. These include:

* Jerome Hunter A 6-foot-7 forward from Pickerington North HS in Columbus, OH. He is ranked as the #44 player in the ESPN 100 for 2019.
* Race Thompson: A 6-foot-9 forward from Robbinsdale Armstrong HS in Plymouth, MN. He is ranked as the #78 player in the ESPN 100 for 2019.
3-star recruits
The Indiana Hoosiers have had a lot of success in recent years thanks in large part to their 3-star recruits. Here are some of the top 3-star recruits from the past few years that you should keep an eye on:
– OG Anunoby: Anunoby was a key player for the Hoosiers during their run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2016. He is a versatile forward who can score, rebound, and defend.
– Thomas Bryant: Bryant was a key player for the Hoosiers during their run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2017. He is a big man who can score, rebound, and block shots

• Isaiah Jackson A 6’9” power forward from La Lumiere School in Indiana, Jackson is ranked as the No. 43 player in the class of 2020 by ESPN. He has a versatile skill set that includes being able to step out and hit shots from beyond the arc.
• Koby McGraff: A 6’7” small forward from Toledo Central Catholic in Ohio, McGraff is ranked as the No. 100 player in the class of 2020 by ESPN. He’s an excellent shooter with a High Basketball IQ.
• Jared Vanderbilt: A 6’9” power forward fromVictory Prep in Texas, Vanderbilt is ranked as the No. 28 player in the class of 2018 by ESPN. He’s a gifted rebounder with a nose for the ball.
International recruits
As IU looks to rebuild its Basketball Program it has started to recruit more and more International Players Here are some of the top international recruits that IU is targeting:
· Moustapha Diagne: A 6’9” center from Senegal, Diagne is considered one of the top international recruits in the class of 2016. He has a 7’3” wingspan and is considered a very good shot blocker. He is currently attending High School in New Jersey.
· Josh Green A 6’6” wing from Australia, Green is considered one of the best shooters in the class of 2016. He is a very good athlete and has a High Basketball IQ. He is currently attending IMG Academy in Florida.
· Thon Maker: A 7’1” center from Sudan, Thon Maker is considered one of the top prospects in the class of 2016. He has an incredible wingspan (7’6”) and is an excellent shot blocker. He is currently attending Orangeville Prep in Canada.
Transfer recruits
The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team is primed for a big season in 2020-2021. They are coming off a 27-8 season in which they made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament They are ranked sixth in the country in the preseason polls and have one of the most talented rosters in the country.
One big reason for their success is their ability to recruit transfer players. They have had success with players like Justin Smith who transferred from Arizona, and Trayce Jackson Davis, who transferred from Garfield Heights high school
Here are three transfer recruits that IU fans should keep an eye on:
1) Josh Newkirk: Newkirk is a 6’1” guard who played his first two seasons at Pittsburgh. He averaged 9.2 points and 2.8 assists per game last season. He will be eligible to play immediately for the Hoosiers and will add depth to their backcourt.
2) De’Ron Davis: Davis is a 6’10” forward who played his first two seasons at Indiana. He averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season. He will have to sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he will be eligible to play in the 2018-2019 season.
3) Joey Brunk: Brunk is a 6’11” center who played his first two seasons at Butler. He averaged 5.8 points and 3 rebounds per game last season. He will have to sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he will be eligible to play in the 2018-2019 season.
