Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all players, regardless of their skill level or experience. Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for a competitive edge, or a complete newcomer just looking to have some fun, Life Pacific Basketball has something to offer you.

The History of Life Pacific Basketball

Life Pacific College located in San Dimas California, is a small, private, Christian College The school was founded in 1923 as Pacific Bible Institute by Rev. Ray A. Kent and his wife, Ruth. In the early years, the school focused on training students for ministry. In fact, one of the school’s original buildings was aptly named “Ministry Hall.” Ministry Hall is still in use today and houses classrooms, the library, and the offices of the President and Vice President. In the late 1970’s, the name of the school was changed to Life Bible College as the focus shifted from solely training ministers to providing an education based on Biblical principles that could be applied to all walks of life. In 1998, the name was changed again to Life Pacific College.

The basketball team at Life Pacific College has a long and storied history. The team was founded in 1923, just one year after the school itself was founded. Originally known as the “Ministry Five,” the team got its start playing other local church teams in Southern California The early years were tough for the young team as they struggled to find their footing against more established programs. However, they persevered and eventually began to find success on the court.

In 1948, under Head Coach Don Coryell Sr., the team won its first-ever conference championship Coryell Sr., who would go on to have a successful career as a head coach at both the collegiate and professional levels, led the team to two more conference championships before moving on to San Diego State University in 1950.

Life Pacific college basketball continued to find success in subsequent years under head coaches such as Gary Entrepreneur and Jerry Tarkanian Jr.. In recent years however

The different levels of Life Pacific Basketball

One of the things that makes Life Pacific Basketball unique is our different levels of play. We have something for everyone, from the casual player who just wants to get some exercise, to the competitive player who wants to test their skills against the best.

Here’s a quick overview of our different levels:

Recreational League: This is our most casual league, and is perfect for people who just want to get out and play some basketball. There are no tryouts, and everyone is welcome.

Competitive League: This league is for players who want to compete at a higher level. There are tryouts for this league, and only the best players will be selected.

All-Star League: This is our top league and is reserved for the best of the best. If you want to test your skills against the best players in the city, this is the league for you.

The training and development of our basketball players is important to us, but we also recognize the importance of developing life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. We believe that basketball can be a vehicle for developing these important life skills.

We are committed to providing a place for everyone who wants to learn and play basketball We have programs for beginners as well as experienced players. We offer both recreational and competitive programs. Our goal is to provide an environment where everyone can learn and develop their skills, regardless of their experience level.

The facilities of Life Pacific Basketball

Life Pacific Basketball is a place for everyone. From the top-of-the-line facilities to the experienced and passionate staff, we provide an environment that is conducive to learning and growth.

Our facility includes six full-sized basketball courts a weight room, a training room, and locker rooms We also have a cafe and a Pro Shop on site.

The community outreach of Life Pacific Basketball

Life Pacific Basketball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community outreach organization that was established in September 2004. Our mission is to provide opportunities for personal growth and enrichment to at-risk youth and their families through the game of basketball

We offer year-round programming for Boys and Girls ages 5-18, which includes weekly practices, skills development clinics, tournaments, and mentorship. Our programming takes place primarily in the city of Life Pacific, but we also serve the surrounding communities of Southeast San Diego

In addition to our youth programs, we also offer adult leagues and open gym sessions for men and women of all ages. Our adult leagues are a great way for members of the community to stay active and engaged, while also building relationships with one another.

Life Pacific Basketball is more than just a Basketball Program – it’s a community. We provide a safe and positive environment for all participants, where everyone is welcome and accepted. We believe that through basketball, we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
