The NESCAC hockey season is in Full Swing and there is a battle for first place brewing. As of right now, there are four teams tied for first place: Amherst, Bowdoin, Colby, and Middlebury. All four of these teams have put together very strong seasons thus far and it should be a great race to the finish. So, which team will come out on top?

As of right now, the Amherst Mammoths have the best chance to take home the title. They have been the most consistent team all season long and have taken care of business against their NESCAC opponents. They still have some tough games remaining on their schedule, but if they can win those games, they will be in good shape.

The Bowdoin Polar Bears are another team that has a great chance to win the title. They got off to a slow start this season but have really picked it up as of late. They have won eight out of their last ten games and are currently riding a five-game Winning Streak If they can keep this momentum going, they will be tough to beat down the stretch.

The Colby Mules and Middlebury Panthers are two more teams that cannot be counted out just yet. Both teams have had their ups and downs this season but are currently playing some good hockey They each still have some tough games remaining on their schedule but if they can win those games, they will be right in the mix at the end of the season.

So, who will come out on top in this battle for first place? It is still anyone’s guess at this point but it should be a fun race to watch unfold over the next few weeks!
