In order to continue the success that O’Dea Basketball has seen in recent years it is important to take a look at the Coaching Staff These are the men who are leading the charge and helping to develop the next generation of basketball players Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, is in his third season with the Fighting Irish and has helped to turn the program around. Under his leadership, O’Dea has won two State Championships and has made it to the Elite 8 three times.
Assistant coach, David Adelman is in his second season with O’Dea. Prior to coaching at O’Dea, he was an assistant at Seattle University He has also coached at Bellevue College and Seattle Pacific University
Rounding out the staff is strength and Conditioning Coach Duane Stevens. Coach Stevens is in his fourth season with O’dea and has 22 years of experience working with athletes of all levels. He has helped to develop numerous players who have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

Will Conroy is a Seattle native who played for O’Dea from 1999-2003. He was a McDonald’s All-American in his senior year and went on to have a great career at the University of Washington. He was undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft but he has had a successful professional career overseas. He is currently playing for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne in France.
Corey Webster is another Seattle native who played for O’Dea from 2003-2007. He had a great career at Oregon State University and was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft He has bounced around the NBA and G League but he is currently playing for Unicaja Malaga in Spain.
Nahziah Carter is a Seattle native who played for O’Dea from 2015-2017. He is currently playing for the University of Washington and he is having a great career thus far. In his junior year, he averaged 12.5 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 47% from three-point range He is expected to have a big senior year and he could end up being drafted in 2020 NBA Draft
Daejon Davis is another Seattle native who played for O’Dea from 2014-2017. He had a great career at the University of Washington where he was part of one of the best teams in school history (2017). After going undrafted in 2018, he signed with AEK Athens in Greece but he left after only six games due to injuries .
