The game goes back and forth until it’s down to the wire, with both of them having one letter left. Mordecai has the chance to win, but he passes it up to let Benson have the victory. Even though he doesn’t want it, Benson gets the tattoo anyway because he promised he would. This act of sportsmanship is what earns Mordecai and Rigby respect from Benson in this episode.

“Pops’ Perfect Free Throws”

In this episode, Pops is determined to make a free throw at the charity basketball game and enlists Mordecai and Rigby to help him practice. However, despite their best efforts, Pops just can’t seem to make the shot. Ultimately, it’s up to Pops to find his own way to make the free throw and prove that he can do it.

Mordecai and Rigby are not very good at basketball so Muscle Man decides to teach them how to play. He starts by teaching them the basics of dribbling and shooting. After they ve learned the basics, he teaches them some more advanced moves, such as how to do a layup and how to do a jump shot

Eventually, Mordecai and Rigby become quite good at basketball and they even manage to beat Muscle Man in a game. This infuriates Muscle Man, but he eventually comes to accept that they are better than him at basketball.

The game is going well until Mordecai starts showing off and starts to make some outrageous shots. The kids become angry and start to boo him. Rigby tries to calm them down, but it only makes things worse. Eventually, Mordecai gets so nervous that he misses a shot and loses the game.

The episode ends with Mordecai and Rigby cleaning up the court again, but this time they are joined by the kids who have forgiven them.
