The following is a list of dates for Virginia travel baseball tournaments in 2021.

-March 27-28: spring training tournament in Norfolk, VA
-April 10-11: Spring Training tournament in Richmond, VA
-May 15-16: Spring Training tournament in Charlottesville, VA
-June 5-6: Summer Slam tournament in Virginia Beach VA
-July 10-11: All American Classic tournament in Virginia Beach, VA
-August 7-8: Battle of the Beach tournament in Virginia Beach, VA

Tournament Format

Virginia travel ball puts on numerous tournaments throughout the year for different age groups. The 2021 tournament format is as follows:

8U-10U: 4 game guarantee. Seeding games will be played on Friday Night Elimination games and Championship will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
A division and AA division will be offered at 8U-10U.

11U-12U: 5 game guarantee (2 seeding games on Friday, 3 games on Saturday, double elimination bracket play on Sunday with a Championship game).
A division and AA division will be offered at 11U-12U.
An Open division will also be offered for 11u-12u (wood bat only).

13u-14u: 5 game guarantee (2 seeding games on Friday, 3 games on Saturday, double elimination bracket play on Sunday with a Championship game).
A division and AA division will be offered at 13u-14u.
An Open division will also be offered for 13u-14u (wood bat only).

Tournament Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in any of the tournaments below, your team must meet the following requirements:
-Your team must be registered with USSSA.
-Your team must have a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 16 players on your roster.
-Your team’s primary residence must be in Virginia.
-Your team’s coach must have completed the online USSSA Coaches Certification Course.

Tournament Fees

Tournament fees for the 2021 season will be $475 for 12u-17u teams and $575 for 18u teams. All fees must be paid in full in order to be considered registered for a tournament. To pay by check, please make checks payable to “Virginia Travel Baseball” and mail to:

Tournament Rules

In order to be eligible to participate in our tournaments, all players must meet the following criteria:
-Must be 9 years of age or younger as of May 1st, 2021
-Cannot have turned 10 years of age prior to May 1st, 2021
-Teams are allowed a maximum of 3 players who will turn 10 during the 2021 calendar year

Tournament Prizes

The top three teams in each age group will receive prizes. First place will receive a $500 gift card second place will receive a $250 gift card, and third place will receive a $100 gift card.
