American League
As of September 22, 2020, the Tampa Bay Rays have the best record in the American League. The Rays have played 60 games and have a record of 40-20. The Minnesota Twins are in second place with a record of 39-19. The Oakland Athletics are in third place with a record of 36-24.
East
The East Division is one of two divisions of Major League Baseball’s American League. The East Division consists of teams from the eastern United States and Canada.
As of the most recent Major League Baseball season, the East Division consists of the following teams:
-Baltimore Orioles
-Boston Red Sox
-New York Yankees
-Tampa Bay Rays
-Toronto Blue Jays
West
The American League West is currently being led by the Houston Astros. The Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and Oakland Athletics round out the division.
Central
The Central Division is home to some of the most storied franchises in baseball history. The Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, and Cleveland Indians have all won multiple World Series titles, and the division also includes the Milwaukee Brewers, who have been to the World Series twice in recent years. The Central is widely considered to be the best division in baseball, and it’s always a battle for supremacy.
National League
The National League of Major League Baseball (MLB) is comprised of 15 teams in two divisions, East and West. The American League, also part of MLB, is made up of 14 teams in two divisions, East and West.
East
The National League East is one of the six divisions of the National League in Major League Baseball. The division was created in 1969 when the National League expanded to 12 teams. It currently consists of the Atlanta Braves, Florida Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals.
West
