The Australian Open

The US Open is a two-week long event, with matches taking place from Monday to Sunday during that period. The Preparatory Week officially begins on Tuesday, but all players must participate in a practice session on Monday. Play begins on Tuesday with first-round matches, and continues until the singles semifinals are played on Friday and Saturday. The Rome Masters (currently sponsored by Intesa Sanpaolo and known as the Internazionali BNL d’Italia) is a tennis tournament held in Rome, Italy. The event is classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour and as a Premier 5 event on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. It is one of three Italicaratings, along with the Open de Nice Côte d’Azur in Nice and the Emilia-Romagna Open in Parma.
The tournament was held for the first time in 1930 at the Foro Italico sports complex in Rome and was won by American Bill Tilden. It has been held annually since then, except for 1943–1945 during the Second World War, when it returned in 1946.
