As of 2019, it will become the only Major to be played on clay for at least 25 years as Wimbledon will be switching to a concentrate playing surface called “Wimbledon Grass” starting from that year.

Wimbledon

Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament of the year, is held at the All England Club in London. The US Open

The United States Open Tennis Championships is a hard court tennis tournament. The tournament is the modern version of one of the oldest tennis championships in the world, the U.S. National Championship, for which men’s singles was first played in 1881.

This US Open is held annually in August and September over a two-week period (excluding weekends). The main tournament consists of five event championships: men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
