And in 2018, he was even better, hitting .286/.353/.499 with 17 HR and 71 RBI in 126 games for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

So far this season, Tebow is off to a hot start for the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs. In 19 games, he’s hitting .340/.432/.610 with 4 HR and 15 RBI. Obviously it’s still early, but these numbers are very encouraging.

At 30 years old, Tim Tebow is no spring chicken. But if he continues to hit like he has so far this season, there’s a very real possibility that he could be called up to the big leagues at some point this season or next. And who knows? Maybe Tim Tebow will be the one to finally turn things around for the struggling Mets franchise.
