ESPN
ESPN is a US-based global cable and satellite television channel that is owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company (which owns a controlling 80% stake) and the Hearst Communications (which owns the remaining 20%).
The network televises Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, college football and college basketball games, as well as other sports such as golf, tennis, boxing, and auto racing. ESPN also airs sports news programming such as SportsCenter, First Take, Get Up!, and Around the Horn.
TNT
TNT is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Turner Broadcasting System subsidiary of AT&T’s WarnerMedia. It carries a variety of programming, with a focus on television drama series, along with some professional wrestling and Major League Baseball games.
TNT’s ratings increased in the early 2000s thanks to hits like The Closer and Saving Grace, but the network did not make much of an impact outside of television critics’ circles until it began airing reruns of popular 1990s programs such as Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and ER during the day and at night, along with newly aired episodes of those programs. These acquisitions gave TNT a lineup that would appeal to viewers of all ages (unlike its sister network TBS, which had been known for primarily airing comedy programming aimed at younger viewers), leading to stronger ratings for the network across the board.
ABC
ABC is an American broadcast television network that is owned by the Walt Disney Company. ABC airs NBA games on Saturday nights during the regular season, and also airs some playoff games.
