NFL Playoffs
Today’s NFL playoff games will be broadcast on a variety of channels. The early game, between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings, will be shown on FOX. The later game, between the Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys, will be shown on NBC.
AFC Playoffs
AFC playoff games will be broadcast on CBS and FOX, with one game each on Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17. The NFC playoffs will be shown on NBC and FOX, with two games each on Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17. The conference championships will be held on Sunday, January 24. CBS will have the AFC game and FOX will have the NFC game. The Super Bowl will be held on Sunday, February 7 at 6:30 PM ET on NBC.
NFC Playoffs
The NFC playoffs are the postseason playoffs of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The NFC was created in 1970 as part of the AFL–NFL merger. Prior to the merger, and until 1967, the NFL playoffs were a two-team postseason culminating in the NFL Championship Game. The NFL added a second wild-card team for each conference in 1975.
The NFC has plays its conference championship game at sites rotating among three cities – Los Angeles, New Orleans, and San Francisco – since 1975. Currently, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California is home to the NFC Championship game.
From 1970 to 1949, the NFL hosted its conference title games at various stadiums around the country. NFC Playoff Schedule
The National Football Conference (NFC) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the National Football League’s (NFL) regular season to determine the conference’s champion, who will play against the champion of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the Super Bowl. Six teams from each conference qualify for the playoffs based on regular season records, and a tie-breaking procedure exists in the case of equal records. The tournament culminates in the NFC Championship Game, played at a site selected on a rotating basis, with its winner receiving the George Halas Trophy and advancing to face the AFC’s champion in the Super Bowl.
The NFC was established as a counterpart to the American Football League (AFL) in 1970, and consequently its playoff format is nearly identical to that of its AFC counterpart; however, since two additional teams have been added to each conference since 1990 (for a total of 32), causing more frequent occurrences of inter-conference games due to realignment, there have been instances where both NFC teams in the Super Bowl were wild card teams (1986, 2010).

NFL Playoff Bracket
The NFL playoffs are an elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. The tournament brackets are made up of six teams from each of the NFL’s two conferences, the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC).
AFC Playoff Bracket
The American Football Conference (AFC) playoff bracket determines the winners of the AFC’s four divisional playoffs and two wild card games. NFC Playoff Bracket
The NFC playoff bracket is set, with the Seattle Seahawks claiming the top seed in the conference. The Seahawks will host the eighth-seeded Minnesota Vikings in the wild-card round on Sunday at 4:40 p.m. ET on NBC.
In the other NFC wild-card game, the sixth-seeded Philadelphia Eagles will travel to face the third-seeded Chicago Bears on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.
The divisional round of the playoffs will begin next weekend, with the Seahawks hosting the lowest remaining seed and the New Orleans Saints hosting the highest remaining seed.
