Round 3 of the NFL draft will take place on Thursday, April 29. This will be the second day of the draft, which will conclude on Saturday, May 1.

64 total selections in Round 3
The third and final day of the NFL Draft is April 25, 2020. Sixty-four total selections will be made in Round 3 across 32 picks. The round will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
The Pittsburgh Steelers own the first pick in the round (No. 97 overall), while the New England Patriots have the final pick in the round (No. 255).
A total of 256 players will be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.
32 compensatory picks in Round 3
The 2020 NFL Draft will resume on Friday, April 24 with the third and final day of the event.
The fourth through seventh rounds will take place on Day 3, which will have 96 selections in total.
Each team will have one pick in each of Rounds 4-7. The order of selection will be determined by draft slot and won/loss record, with the worst teams picking first and the best teams picking last.
Round 3 will include 32 compensatory picks, which are awarded to teams that lost more qualifying free agents than they signed the previous offseason. These picks are slotted at the end of Round 3 and after Round 6.
The compensatory picks cannot be traded, so there will be no movement in the order once they are announced.
