An expected total of 32 compensatory selections will be distributed at the end of Round 3, bringing the total number of draft selections to 256. There will also be 16 additional selections made by individual teams during the seven-round drafts, which are not compensatory, for a total of 272 picks. These extra selections are awarded to teams that had at least oneCompensatory free agent lost during the 2020 free agency period.
