What Division Is Uconn Baseball?

The UConn Huskies baseball team competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the American Athletic Conference (The American).

Uconn Baseball is a Division 1 school that competes in the American Athletic Conference. The conference consists of 10 teams and they play a 56 game regular season. The conference tournament is held at the end of the regular season and the top 4 teams advance to the NCAA tournament.

The conference consists of 10 schools: Uconn, UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, Tulane, USF, ECU, Wichita State, and Navy (the latter two joined in 2017). In baseball, the AAC is considered a “mid-major” conference.

The UConn Huskies baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, United States. The team is a member of the American Athletic Conference (The American), which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division I. UConn’s first baseball team was fielded in 1896. The team plays its home games at J.O. Christian Field in Storrs, Connecticut. The Huskies are coached by Jim Penders.

Atlantic 10

UConn is a Division I school and competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
