Beginnings

Big Cass began his WWE career in 2013 as a part of the NXT Wrestling developmental brand. He quickly rose to prominence, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship with Enzo Amore. The two were then called up to the main roster in 2016 and became one of the most popular tag teams in WWE.

The New Day

After a couple of years teaming with Enzo Amore as the popular tag team “The Realest Guys in the Room,” Big Cass was drafted to SmackDown LIVE during the 2016 WWE Superstar Shake-up. On SmackDown LIVE, Cass quickly made an impact, defeating The Miz in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match and then literally toppling The A-Lister by crashing through his Miztourage to put an exclamation point on their rivalry.

At WWE Battleground 2017, Cass teamed with Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon to take on The Miz & The Usos in a thrilling flag match. Though he didn’t get his hands on The Miz that night, he did get some payback at SummerSlam 2017 when he defeated The A-Lister one-on-one.

On the Oct. 17, 2017, episode of SmackDown LIVE, Cass was brutally attacked by Trevor Murdoch & Heath Slater. After weeks of physical therapy, Cass finally returned to action at the Royal Rumble 2018 Kickoff Show, defeating Murdoch.

Personal Life

Family

Bushwick Bill’s family moved to Houston, Texas, while he was still young. Two years after they moved, his father was killed in a robbery. His mother worked hard to support the family by working two jobs. When he was sixteen, Bushwick Bill’s mother died of cancer. This left him and his two sisters to fend for themselves.

He turned to a life of crime and started selling drugs. He was arrested for possession of cocaine and spent nine months in jail. After he was released from jail, he decided to change his life and pursue a career in professional wrestling.

Big Cass was in a relationship with Carmella from 2013 to June 2017.
Both of them were together in NXT and were called as the power couple of WWE NXT.

Personal Struggles
