Introduction
The NFL playoff schedule is a single-elimination tournament held after the end of the NFL regular season to determine the NFL champion. The tournament brackets are made up of six teams from each of the league’s two conferences, the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC).The four division winners from each conference are seeded 1-4 based on their regular season record, with the top two seeds receiving a bye in the first round of playoffs. The remaining four teams from each conference are seeded 5-6 and play each other in the first round, with the winners advancing to play one of the divisional seeded teams. Conference seeding is used throughout the playoffs. The team with the best record in each conference is given home-field advantage throughout that conference’s playoff bracket. There are no restrictions on intra-conference matchups in any round

AFC Playoff Schedule
The American Football Conference (AFC) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the National Football League’s (NFL) regular season to determine the AFC champion. The tournament culminates in the AFC Championship Game, in which two division winners play each other to determine the conference champion.
The four division winners and two wild card teams (the two teams with the best records remaining after the divisional playoffs) from each conference qualify for the playoffs. The NFL does not use a fixed bracket playoff system, and there are no restrictions regarding teams from the same division matching up in any round. In the first round, dubbed the wild-card playoffs or wild-card weekend, the third-seeded division winner hosts the sixth seed wild card, and the fourth seed hosts the fifth. There are no restrictions regarding teams from the same division matching up in any round. The 1 and 2 seeds from each conference then receive a bye to the next round. In subsequent rounds, higher remaining seeds always host games.

The 53rd edition of the National Football League’s championship game, commonly known as Super Bowl LIII, is set to be played on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be broadcast on CBS and is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM EST.
