The NFL Playoff Picture is looking very good for the Patriots this year. They have clinched the AFC East and are in good position to get a first-round bye.

What Is the NFL Playoff Picture Looking Like?

AFC

As we head into the final weeks of the NFL season, the playoff picture is starting to come into focus. In the AFC, the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are currently the top two seeds. The Patriots have clinched the AFC East and are on track to earn a first-round bye. The Steelers are close behind, but they still have some work to do in order to clinch the AFC North.

AFC East

In the AFC East, the New England Patriots have already clinched the division title and a playoff berth. The Miami Dolphins are currently in second place and are also playoff bound. The Buffalo Bills are in third place and are still in the hunt for a wild card spot. The fourth-place New York Jets have been eliminated from playoff contention.

AFC North

The Baltimore Ravens have clinched the AFC North, and they will be the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. The Ravens have a one-game lead over the New England Patriots for the best record in the AFC, and they hold the tiebreaker over the Patriots thanks to their head-to-head win earlier this season.

The Ravens have clinched a first-round bye, and they will host a divisional round playoff game on January 11 or 12. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in second place in the AFC North with an 8-5 record, and they are currently projected to be the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoffs. The Steelers would need to win their final three games and get some help to overtake the Ravens for the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye.

AFC South

With the NFL season now past the halfway mark, it’s time to take a look at how the playoff picture is shaping up in the AFC. In the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts are currently in first place with a 7-3 record. The Houston Texans are in second place with a 6-4 record, while the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are both currently sitting at 5-5.

AFC West

The AFC West is a division of the National Football League’s American Football Conference. The division consists of four teams: the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Oakland Raiders. All four teams are based in the Western United States. The AFC West is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.

The AFC West is currently led by the Kansas City Chiefs who have a record of 9-4. The Chiefs have clinched a playoff berth and are in control of their own destiny when it comes to winning the division title. The Los Angeles Chargers are right behind the Chiefs with a record of 8-5 and they too have clinched a playoff berth. The Chargers still have an outside shot at winning the division title but they will need some help from other teams in order to do so.

The Denver Broncos are currently third in the division with a record of 6-7 and they are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. The Broncos would need to win their final three games and hope that either the Chiefs or Chargers lose one of their final three games in order to have a chance at making the playoffs.

The Oakland Raiders are currently last in the division with a record of 2-11 and they have been eliminated from playoff contention.

NFC

The NFC playoff picture is looking very good for the Minnesota Vikings. They are currently in first place in their division and are in a good position to make the playoffs. The NFC is a very competitive conference and there are a lot of good teams vying for a spot in the playoffs. The Vikings have a good chance to make a run at the Super Bowl this year.

NFC East

The NFC East is a division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Redskins.

NFC North

The NFC North is a bit more wide open than the AFC North at this point in the season. The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are currently tied for first place with records of 9-4, followed by the Minnesota Vikings at 8-5. The Detroit Lions are currently in last place with a record of 5-8.

The Bears and Packers have both clinched a spot in the playoffs, but the division title is still up for grabs. The Vikings are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but their chances took a hit with last week’s loss to the Seahawks. The Lions are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

NFC South

The NFC South is a Division in the National Football League’s National Football Conference. The NFC South was formed in 2002 as part of the NFL’s realignment plan. The four teams that currently make up the division are the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Panthers and Saints have both won the division three times, the Falcons have won it twice, and the Buccaneers have won it once. The Panthers are the only team in the NFC South to have made it to a Super Bowl, which they did in 2003 (they lost to the Patriots 32-29). The Falcons also made it to a Super Bowl in 2016 (they lost to the Patriots 34-28 in overtime).

As of right now, the Panthers are in first place with a record of 8-3. They are followed by the Saints (8-3), Falcons (7-4), and Buccaneers (4-7).

NFC West

In the NFC West, the Los Angeles Rams are in first place with an 11-1 record. The Rams have already clinched a playoff berth and a first-round bye. The Seattle Seahawks are in second place with an 8-4 record and are also already playoff bound. The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers both have 3-9 records and are out of playoff contention.
