Looking at the NFL standings, it’s hard to say who the worst team is. The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers are both 1-13, but the Browns have looked slightly better lately. The 49ers haven’t won a game since Week 2, while the Browns have won two of their last four. So, based on recent performance, the Browns are probably the worst team in the NFL right now.

-Brandon Weeden: He was drafted in the first round to be their franchise QB, but he was terrible. He had a career record of 5-15 as a starter for the Browns.

RB:
-Trent Richardson: He was drafted 3rd overall by the Browns, but he was a huge disappointment. He only averaged 3.3 yards per carry in his two years with the Browns before they traded him to the Colts.
-Peyton Hillis: He had one good season with the Browns, but he was more interested in making Madden cover than playing football. After his one good season, he was a complete bust for the Browns.

WR:
-Josh Gordon: He is a talented WR, but he has struggled with drug addiction and has been suspended multiple times. He hasn’t played a full season since 2013 and is once again suspended for an entire season.
-Corey Coleman: The Browns drafted him in 2016 to be their number one WR, but he has been injured most of his career and has struggled when he has been on the field.

Staley is a 6-time Pro Bowler and 2-time First-team All-Pro who has anchored the 49ers’ offensive line since he was drafted in 2007. He missed eight games last season with a broken fibula but is expected to be back healthy for the start of the 2020 campaign. McGlinchey, a first-round pick in 2018, has started all 32 games at right tackle in his first two seasons. He’ll likely move over to the left side this year with Staley’s injury. Skule and Brunskill will compete for the starting job at right tackle.

Guard: Laken Tomlinson, Wesley Johnson, Ross Reynolds

Tomlinson has started all 32 games at left guard for the 49ers over the past two seasons. He’s a solid run blocker but has struggled in pass protection at times. Johnson is a journeyman who has started just four games over the past two years. Reynolds is an undrafted free agent who will compete for a depth spot on the roster.

Center: Weston Richburg

Richburg missed most of last season with a knee injury but is expected to be back healthy for 2020. He’s a former second-round pick who has started 47 games in his NFL career.

The Buffalo Bills
