What NBA Player Has the Biggest Shoe Size?

In recent years, the average NBA player’s shoe size has been on the rise. So, which player currently has the biggest shoe size in the league?

Introduction

In the world of professional basketball, there are a few Gold Standards that many rookies aspire to achieve. Making an All-Star team, winning a championship ring, and receiving MVP honors are all great accomplishments. But there’s one more benchmark that a select few have been able to achieve, and that’s having the biggest shoe size in the NBA.

Throughout the years, there have been a number of players who have boasted some of the biggest feet in the league. At 7’1″, former center Shaquille O’Neal has some of the largest hands and feet in NBA history. His shoe size is a whopping 22 (US) or 56 (EU). Not to be outdone, fellow big man Yao Ming also sports a size 22 (US) or 56 (EU) shoe.

But it’s not just centers who have large feet. Current point guard Dennis Schröder also wears a size 22 (US) or 56 (EU) shoe. Schröder is just 6’1″, but his long frame and large feet help him get an advantage over smaller defenders.

So who currently holds the title for biggest shoe size in the NBA? That would be 7’3″ center Boban Marjanović of the LA Clippers. Marjanović wears a massive size 23 (US) or 58 (EU) shoe! To put that into perspective, Marjanović’s shoes are almost as long as an adult man’s foot. And his hands are also some of the largest in the league, measuring 11.5 inches from thumb to pinky finger!

Shaquille O’Neal

Retired NBA player Shaquille O’Neal reportedly wears a size 22 shoe, making him one of the biggest players in the league in terms of feet.

He is believed to have been the tallest player in NBA history, and is one of only three players who have been listed at or near 8 feet (2.4 meters).

Tacko Fall

At 7 feet 5 inches tall, Tacko Fall is one of the tallest NBA players currently active. He also has the largest shoe size among all NBA players, wearing a size 22.
