The current NBA injury list is a long one. As of right now, there are many players sidelined with various injuries. Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Kristaps Porzingis are just a few of the big names that are currently out injured.

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Sixers.

Irving has been out since March 11th with a knee injury and there is still no timetable for his return. The Celtics will continue to be without their star point guard as they try to hold on to the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

DeMarcus Cousins

Cousins, who tore his left quadriceps muscle in the first round of the playoffs, will miss the remainder of the postseason.

Zion Williamson

Williamson, 20, is the Pelicans’ prized rookie and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He was sidelined earlier this season with a knee injury, which caused him to miss the first 44 games of his pro career. Williamson returned to action on Jan. 22 and has played in 19 games since, averaging 23.6 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 58.9 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range.

The Pelicans announced Thursday that Williamson underwent successful right knee arthroscopy and meniscal repair surgery in Chicago. The procedure was performed by Drs. Neal Sane and Michael Bines of Rush University Medical Center, with Pelicans team physician Drs. Misty Suri and William Kennedy assisting.
