Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving, who plays the title character in Uncle Drew, is a star point guard for the Boston Celtics. He was drafted first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011, and won an NBA Championship with the team in 2016. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2012 and has been selected to six All-Star teams. In 2017, he was traded to the Celtics, where he has continued his All-Star level play.
Shaquille O’Neal
One of the most dominant players in NBA history, Shaquille O’Neal was a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court. A 15-time All-Star and four-time champion, Shaq was named MVP of the league in 2000 and is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time. In Uncle Drew, he portrays Dre, the team’s tough-as-nails enforcer who does whatever it takes to win.

Chris Paul played Uncle Drew in the film of the same name. He is a point guard for the Houston Rockets, and is considered one of the best players in the NBA.
Reggie Miller
Reggie Miller played the role of “Lights” in the film. He is a former professional basketball player who played 18 seasons in the NBA, primarily for the Indiana Pacers. He is widely considered one of the greatest shooters of all time.
Nate Robinson
Nate Robinson played the character of Youngblood in Uncle Drew. He is a former NBA player who was drafted into the league in 2005.
Lisa Leslie
Lisa Leslie played the character of Maya, Uncle Drew’s love interest. Leslie is a retired professional basketball player who played in the WNBA. She is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and a three-time WNBA MVP.
