Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have officially acquired Jimmy Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers in a sign-and-trade deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The Sixers will receive guard Josh Richardson from the Heat in exchange for Butler and will also send center Meyers Leonard and cash considerations to the Portland Trail Blazers. In addition, the Sixers will receive a protected 2024 second-round pick from the Heat, according to Wojnarowski.

Butler signing a four-year, $142 million deal with the Heat, per Wojnarowski. He joins a suddenly revamped Miami team that includes fellow All-Star Bam Adebayo.

D’Angelo Russell to the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade D’Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN.

The 2021 first-round pick is top-three protected, sources said. The Timberwolves will also send Gorgui Dieng to the Warriors in the deal, league sources told ESPN.

The Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to the Wolves as part of the deal, league sources told ESPN.

Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks

Kristaps Porzingis is headed to the Dallas Mavericks in a seven-player trade, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The New York Knicks will also receive Dennis Smith Jr., Wesley Matthews, and two future first-round picks from the Mavericks. In return, the Knicks will send DeAndre Jordan and Tim Hardaway Jr. to the Mavericks, along with Courtney Lee and Trey Burke.
