Wild Card Playoffs
In the National Football League (NFL), the Wild Card Playoffs are the first round of the playoffs. They are played after the end of the regular season.
The four teams with the best record in each conference earn a playoff berth. These teams are seeded 1-4 based on their record. The team with the best record is seeded 1, the team with the second-best record is seeded 2, and so on.
The Wild Card Playoffs are single-elimination games. The winner of each game advances to the Divisional Playoffs, where they will play a team from their same conference who earned a bye in the first round.
Divisional Playoffs
The Divisional Playoffs are the second round of the NFL playoffs. The four surviving teams from the Wild Card round compete in this round. The divisional winners host each game. The winners of these games advance to the Conference Championships.
