The NFL playoffs are upon us and there are some great games this Saturday. The first game of the day is the Jaguars vs. the Bills. This should be a great game as both teams have had great seasons. The Jaguars are led by their strong defense, while the Bills have a great offense. Who will win this matchup?
Saturday Games
The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Los Angeles Rams in an NFC Wild Card playoff game at 4:40 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 9. The Seahawks are the No. 5 seed in the NFC, while the Rams are the No. 4 seed.
The Seahawks and Rams met twice during the regular season, with each team winning once. In their most recent matchup, which took place in Seattle in Week 15, the Seahawks won 16-10.
The winner of this game will advance to face the No. 1 seed Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Divisional Round next weekend.
The other NFL playoff game on Saturday will be an AFC Wild Card matchup between the Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders at 8:15 p.m. ET. The Texans are the No. 4 seed in the AFC, while the Raiders are the No 6 seed.
This will be a rematch of a Week 11 game that saw the Texans come out on top 27-20 in Houston.
The winner of this game will advance to face either the New England Patriots or Kansas City Chiefs (who play each other on Sunday) next weekend in Foxborough, Mass., in the AFC Divisional Round.
Sunday Games
The NFL playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. Six teams from each of the league’s two conferences qualify for the playoffs. Seeds 1–4 for each conference receive a bye in the first round. In the first round, the third seed hosts the sixth seed and the fourth seed hosts the fifth seed, with the winners advancing to face the top two seeds in each conference in the Divisional Round. The Divisional Round winners then advance to meet in each conference’s championship game, called simply, one week later. All playoff games are broadcast nationally on either CBS, Fox or NBC.
