Hunt’s son, Clark, serves as chairman and CEO.

The 2019 Kansas City Chiefs season was the franchise’s 50th season in the National Football League, their 60th overall and their first under head coach Andy Reid. The roster currently stands at 53 players, and that will likely be the number when the season starts. There are a few players that are on the bubble and could be cut, but most of them are role players that are not going to have a major impact on the team. The starting lineup is set and there is a lot of depth at every position. That is what you need to win a championship.

The quarterback is the most important position in football, and the Chiefs have one of the best in Patrick Mahomes. He is coming off a season where he was named the MVP of the league, and he has only gotten better in the offseason. The offensive line is good enough to protect him, and they have a group of receivers that can make plays downfield. The running game is not as strong as it used to be, but they have a couple of backs that can make plays if they need to.

The defense was one of the best in the league last year, and they added some more talent in the offseason. The defensive line is anchored by Chris Jones, who is one of the best pass rushers in football. He will teamed up with Frank Clark, who they acquired from Seattle this offseason. They also have a good group of linebackers led by Reggie Ragland. The secondary is where they might have some problems, but they have a couple of good young players that should be able to step up.

The Chiefs are loaded on both sides of the ball, and they should be able to make another run at the championship this year.
