Date
The Super Bowl is an annual American football championship game. It is the culmination of a regular season that begins in the late summer of the previous calendar year.
Location
The location of the Super Bowl is chosen by the NFL well in advance, usually three to five years ahead of time. The league considers a number of factors in choosing the site, including stadium capacity, climate, fan and media interest, facilities, and transportation. The game is usually played on a Sunday in late January or early February and is rotated among CBS, Fox, and NBC so that each network gets to air the game about every three years.
