The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) have a female coach, Lori Locust. She is the assistant defensive line coach. Locust is the first full-time female coach in NFL history.

Head Coach: Leslie Frazier

Leslie Frazier was hired as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on January 15, 2014. He is the first African American head coach in franchise history.

Frazier previously served as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2010 to 2013. During his time with the Vikings, he led the team to a 10-6 record and a berth in the NFC Championship game in 2012.

Offensive Coordinator: Aaron Kromer

Kromer was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach of the Chicago Bears from 2013 to 2014.

Kromer began his NFL coaching career as an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints in 1997. He was the tight ends coach for the Seattle Seahawks in 2001 and returned to the Saints from 2002 to 2005 as their offensive line coach. Kromer then spent one season (2006) as the offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders before returning to the Saints for six seasons (2007–2012) as their offensive line coach.

Kromer was suspended for two games by the Bears in 2014 after he made critical remarks about Jay Cutler’s leadership to NFL Network’s Rich Gannon, which were then anonymously sourced back to Kromer.

Defensive Coordinator: Bill Sheridan

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers named Bill Sheridan their new defensive coordinator on January 17, 2019, after he spent the previous four seasons as the linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints.

Sheridan has 20 years of NFL coaching experience, including four years as a defensive coordinator with the New York Giants (2009-12) and one season with the Detroit Lions (2013). The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in Glendale, Arizona. They are members of the National Football League (NFL) and play their home games at State Farm Stadium. The team was founded as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898, and is the oldest continuously run professional football team in the United States. The Cardinals play their home games at State Farm Stadium, which opened in 2006 and is located in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix. The franchise has won two NFL championships: both times when they were based in Chicago.

The team’s head coach is Bruce Arians, who was hired on January 17, 2013. Arians had previously been the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts. He also served as the head coach of Temple University from 1983 to 1988. On December 31, 2012, after leading the Colts to an 11–5 record and a playoff berth during his only season as interim head coach following Chuck Pagano’s leave of absence for cancer treatment, Arians was named AP Coach of the Year—only the third time since 1962 that a head coach who was not his team’s primary play-caller has won the award.
