The Bills are the only NFL team that has not won a Super Bowl in their history, and have the longest active streak of consecutive playoff appearances without a win of any kind.
The Buffalo Bills began play as an original AFL franchise in 1960. The club joined the NFL as part of the AFL–NFL merger in 1970. The Bills have appeared in four consecutive Super Bowls (1991–1994), winning none. They are the only team to lose four consecutive Super Bowls. The team has never won a league championship, either in the AFL or NFL, and is currently tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the longest active drought of any NFL team at 30 seasons. They are also tied with the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers for having the second-most Super Bowl appearances (4) without a win, behind only the Minnesota Vikings who have made 8 trips but never won.
The Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. The team competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division.

The Cincinnati Bengals
Though they’ve been to two Super Bowls, the Cincinnati Bengals have never won one. Established in 1968 as an expansion team, the Bengals have had some great seasons and legendary players, yet they always seem to come up short. Could this be the year they finally win it all?
The Bengals have never won a Super Bowl
The Bengals have never won a Super Bowl, but they did make it to the big game in 1981 and 1988. Unfortunately, they lost both times. The team has been to the playoffs numerous times since then, but they have never been able to make it back to the Super Bowl. In recent years, the Bengals have been one of the worst teams in the NFL, so their chances of winning a Super Bowl anytime soon are pretty slim.
They have been to two Super Bowls
The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football franchise based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) North division. Their home stadium is Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati.
The Bengals were founded in 1966 as a member of the American Football League (AFL) by former Cleveland Browns head coach Paul Brown. Brown was the Bengals’ head coach from their inception to 1975. After being dismissed as the Browns’ head coach by Art Modell in January 1963, Brown had shown interest in establishing another NFL franchise in Ohio and looked at both Cincinnati and Columbus. He ultimately chose Cincinnati due to its greater population and proximity to an interstate highway system.
The Bengals have appeared in two Super Bowls, XVI and XXIII, losing both times to the San Francisco 49ers. They have won eight divisional championships and one AFC championship, but no NFL championship during their 52 years of existence.
