What NFL Team Never Made It to the Super Bowl?
The NFL is full of teams that have never made it to the Super Bowl. In fact, 28 of the 32 teams in the league have never won a Lombardi Trophy. So, which team is the most unlucky?
The Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. They have not reached the Super Bowl since their NFL championship victory in 1964 and thus are the only team since the creation of the Super Bowl that has never played in it. They are also the only team in NFL history to have never made it to a conference championship game.
The Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions have never made it to the Super Bowl. In fact, they haven’t even made it to an NFC Championship game since 1957. The Lions have the dubious distinction of being the only team in NFL history to go 0-16 in a season, which they did in 2008.
The Houston Texans
The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas. The Texans compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) South division. The team first played in 2002 as an expansion team, making them the youngest franchise currently competing in the NFL.
