After spending 8 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Sanders signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 1989. In 1995, he was part of a Dallas team that went 13-3 and won Super Bowl XXX against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He would retire from the NFL in 1999 after winning another Super Bowl with the Cowboys against the Denver Broncos.

Washington Redskins (2000-2002)
In 2000, Sanders was traded to the Washington Redskins for Champ Bailey and a second-round draft pick. He played well for the Redskins, starting all 16 games in each of his three seasons with the team and recording 18 interceptions. However, he was not happy with his contract and was released by the team following the 2002 season.
Baltimore Ravens (2004-2005)
