What NFL Teams Will Win This Week?

Week 4 of the NFL season is upon us and there are some interesting matchups. Here are my predictions for which teams will come out on top.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.

The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium. An original member of the AFC East, the Patriots joined the NFL in 1970 as part of an AFL–NFL merger amountsing to a total of 26 teams. The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Foxboro Stadium from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of 2002 season.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are coming off a huge win against the Dallas Cowboys, and they’re looking to keep the momentum going against the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams have one of the best defenses in the league, and they should be able to contain the 49ers’ offense. Los Angeles should win this game comfortably.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are a Professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. They were founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and were a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed their current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the AFL–NFL merger in 1970. The team is valued at over $2 billion. Hunt’s son, Clark, serves as chairman and CEO.

The Chiefs have won three AFL championships, in 1962, 1966, and 1969. They became the second AFL team (after SB 50) to defeat an NFL team in an AFL–NFL World Championship Game when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. The team’s victory on January 11, 1970, remains the club’s last championship game victory and appearance to date, and occurred concurrently with the AFC’s 2010s decade reign as conference champions. From 1959 to 1961, they reached two straight AFC Championship games (then known as the AFL Championship Game), but lost both times to the eventual league champion: first to the Colts in 1959 and then again to Houston Oilers who won inaugural championship game in 1960 by sudden death overtime. Since signing quarterback Patrick Mahomes II in 2017, they have compiled a record of 24–4 (.857), leading them to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1970 and their first ever NFL Championship since winning Super Bowl IV 54 years prior.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints currently compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The team was founded by John W. Mecom Jr., David Dixon, and the city of New Orleans on November 1, 1966. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.

The name “Saints” is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic faith, as New Orleans has a large Catholic population. The franchise was founded on November 1, 1966.[8][9] The team’s primary colors are old gold and black; their logo is a simplified fleur-de-lis.[10] They played their home games in Tulane Stadium through the 1974 NFL season. The following year, they moved to the new Louisiana Superdome (now Mercedez-Benz Superdome).[11][12]

For most of their existence, the Saints were barely competitive, only getting to .500 twice. In 1987, they finished 12–3—their first-ever winning season—and qualified for the NFL playoffs for the first time in franchise history. In 2010, they won Super Bowl XLIV 31–17 over the Indianapolis Colts.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently on a winning streak, and they are looking to continue that winning streak this week against the New York Jets. The Eagles are favored to win by 7 points, and they should be able to win this game.

Conclusion
