So if you’re a fan of basketball, make sure to tune in to these two great games!
Eastern Conference
The Toronto Raptors will be facing off against the Milwaukee Bucks in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals. This will be the Raptors first time in the Conference Finals since 2016, when they were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers. The game will be played at the Raptors home court, the Scotiabank Arena, in Toronto, Ontario.
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
The Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers will be facing off in the Eastern Conference playoffs today. The game is set to start at 3:30pm EST and will be broadcast on TNT. This is the first time these two teams have met in the playoffs since 2012, when the Celtics won in seven games. The Sixers will be looking to exact some revenge, while the Celtics will be looking to advance to the next round.
Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
The Toronto Raptors are in Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Raptors hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The Cavaliers are coming off a loss in Game 2, where they were outplayed for most of the game. Cavs star LeBron James had a triple-double in the loss, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Raptors’ balanced attack.
Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan is averaging 28 points per game in the series, and center Jonas Valanciunas has been a force inside, averaging 14 points and 12 rebounds per game.
The Cavaliers will need to find a way to slow down the Raptors’ offense if they want to get back in the series. Game 3 is tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Western Conference
The Golden State Warriors will take on the Houston Rockets in the first game of the day. The Warriors are the heavy favorites in this matchup, but the Rockets have proved they can compete with the best of the best. The second game of the day will feature the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Trail Blazers are coming off a big win against the Rockets, and they will look to continue their winning ways.
Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
In a battle for the top spot in the Western Conference, the Houston Rockets will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Rockets are currently in first place with a record of 50-22, while the Timberwolves are in second place with a record of 47-25. Both teams are coming off of losses in their last games, so they will be looking to bounce back with a win. The Rockets are led by James Harden, who is averaging 30.4 points per game, while the Timberwolves are led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who is averaging 21.3 points per game. This should be a great game between two of the best teams in the conference.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz
The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Utah Jazz in the first game of their best-of-seven series in the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs. The Thunder finished the regular season with a 44-28 record, good for fifth place in the Western Conference. The Jazz finished the regular season with a 41-31 record, good for seventh place in the Western Conference. The winner of this series will advance to face the winner of the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers series in the second round of the playoffs.
