There are 32 NFL teams in total, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). out of those 32 teams, 20 of them are located in just 10 states. Two states have three NFL teams each, while eight other states have two teams. Below is a list of the states with three NFL teams and their respective teams.
-California: San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Rams

The Rams began playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 2017 after 60 seasons of playing home games at Anaheim Stadium located in Anaheim, California.

The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in the greater Los Angeles Area. The Chargers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The Chargers play their home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which the club shares with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Chargers were founded on August 14, 1959, and began play on September 10, 1960, as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL), and spent their first season in Los Angeles, before moving to San Diego in 1961. They played their home games at Balboa Stadium from 1961 to 1966; then at San Diego Stadium (later renamed QualComm Stadium) from 1967 to 2016. The Chargers joined the NFL as result of the AFL–NFL merger in 1970; they then agreed to join the AFC West as part of an NFL realignment plan that took effect in 1971.
The San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) West division. The team plays its home games at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, located 38 miles (61 kilometers) southeast of San Francisco in the heart of Silicon Valley. Since 1988, the 49ers have been headquartered in Santa Clara.
