And thus, the first ever Super Bowl was born.
Since that time, a total of 53 different champions have been crowned between both conferences; 32 from the NFC and 21 from the AFC. Of those 53 champions, 27 different franchises have won at least one title while 26 other franchises remain without a championship victory.
