NFL Playoffs
The NFL playoffs are finally here! After a long regular season, the best teams in the league have been fighting for their spot in the playoffs. This year, there are some great match-ups in the first round. Let’s take a look at what time the games are today.
AFC Playoffs
The National Football League (NFL) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held each year to determine the champion of the National Football League (NFL). The tournament brackets are made up of six teams from each of the league’s two conferences, the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), and four wild card teams. Wild card teams are seeded fifth and sixth in their conference, and they compete in the first round of the playoffs. The winners of each first-round game then advance to play against one of the three divisional champions in the second round, called the divisional playoffs. The divisional playoff winners then advance to compete against each other in the conference championships, with the winners of those games going on to play in Super Bowl.
The AFC playoff schedule is as follows:
Wild Card Weekend:
-Saturday, January 4 at 4:35pm ET: Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers
-Saturday, January 4 at 8:15pm ET: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans
Divisional Playoffs:
-Saturday, January 11 at 4:35pm ET: TBD at Kansas City Chiefs
-Sunday, January 12 at 1:05pm ET: TBD at New England Patriots
Championship Game:
-Sunday, January 19 at 3:00pm ET
NFC Playoffs
The National Football Conference (NFC) Playoff Picture panel seeds the top six teams in the NFC playoffs. The seeds are based on each team’s record, with a tiebreaker system used as needed.
In the NFC, the top seed gets a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the conference playoffs. The second seed also gets a first-round bye. The third seed hosts the sixth seed in the first round, while the fourth seed hosts the fifth seed.
Today’s Games
The NFL playoff schedule for today includes two games. The first game is between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. The second game is between the Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys.

The NFL playoffs are single elimination and the higher seed will host each game. The schedule for today’s games is as follows:
AFC Wild Card Playoffs
The AFC Wild Card Playoffs are the first round of the American Football Conference’s (AFC) playoffs. NFC Wild Card Playoffs
The National Football Conference (NFC) Wild Card Playoffs are one of two ways that a team can qualify for the NFC Playoffs. The other way is by winning their division. These teams are seeded one through four based on their record, with the team having the best record being seeded first, and so on.
