What Time Are The Baseball Playoff Games Today?

American League

The first game of the day is between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. The game is set to start at 8:00 PM EST and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros

The Boston Red Sox will take on the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series. The best-of-seven series will begin on Saturday, October 13th. The Red Sox are coming off a dramatic victory over the New York Yankees in the ALDS, while the Astros defeated the Cleveland Indians in their own ALDS matchup.

Game 1: Saturday, October 13th at 8:09pm ET in Houston
Game 2: Sunday, October 14th at 8:09pm ET in Houston
Game 3: Tuesday, October 16th at 8:09pm ET in Boston

National League

The National League playoff game times have not yet been announced. However, we do know that the Wild Card game will be played on October 1st and the Divisional Series will start on October 3rd.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks will be facing off in the National League Divisional Series. The first game will be played today, October 6th, at 6:08 pm EST. The second game will be tomorrow, October 7th, at 4:08 pm EST.

Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals

The Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals will face off in a best-of-five National League Division Series starting on Friday, October 6th. The two teams met seven times during the regular season, with the Cubs winning four of those games.

In the first game of the series, Cubs ace pitcher Jon Lester will take the mound against Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 pm ET at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

The Cubs are coming into this series as the reigning World Series champions, having defeated the Cleveland Indians in seven games last year. The Nationals have not made it to the playoffs since they moved to Washington from Montreal in 2005.

The winner of this series will advance to the National League Championship Series, where they will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Arizona Diamondbacks.
