What time do the NBA Finals start?
The NBA Finals are the championships of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Eastern and Western Conference champions play a best-of-seven series to determine the league champion. The winning team of the NBA Finals receives the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, which replaced the Walter A. Brown Trophy in 1983.
The Finals were initially organized into a Eastern Division vs Western Division format, with the first two games played at each division’s home court. Subsequently, every subsequent Finals except 1950, 1952, 1957, and 1958 have been played following a 2–2–1–1–1 format (the team with home-court advantage plays four of the seven games at home), where the first two and last two games are played at the home court of the team with home-court advantage, while the middle three games are played at the home court of the team without home-court advantage.
