The Eastern Conference
The Eastern Conference is one of the two conferences in the NBA. The other is the Western Conference. The Eastern Conference consists of 15 teams, and they are: the Atlanta Hawks, the Boston Celtics, the Brooklyn Nets, the Charlotte Hornets, the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Detroit Pistons, the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat, the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks, the Orlando Magic, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Toronto Raptors, and the Washington Wizards.
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Raptors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. They play their home games at the Scotiabank Arena, which they share with the National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs. The team was founded in 1995 as part of the NBA’s expansion into Canada, along with the Vancouver Grizzlies. Since the 2000–01 season, the Raptors have been the only Canadian-based NBA team.
Following along with their 1998 expansion cousins, the Vancouver Grizzlies, relocated to Memphis, Tennessee in 2001 and became the Memphis Grizzlies. After five seasons of failed attempts to rebuild following Chris Bosh’s departure in 2010, Bryan Colangelo’s subsequent trade of Rudy Gay midway through 2013–14 marked a change in philosophy centered around developing Canadian talent; one that culminated in Marc Gasol’s acquisition two years later. The Raptors finished as runners up behind Cleveland three times from 2016 to 2018.. In 2019 they again qualified for the NBA Finals where they defeated two-time defending champions Golden State Warriorsin six games to win their first ever championship and become just second non-American franchise to do so; joining only Houston Rockets who accomplished this feat back in 1995 also as 6th seed that year
Boston Celtics

They have also won 22 Eastern Conference Championships. The Celtics have had many legendary players including Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. The Celtics play their home games at TD Garden.
Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers (also commonly known as the Sixers) are an American professional basketball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They play in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. The 76ers organization was established in 1946 as the Syracuse Nationals, and they joined the NBA in 1949 after purchasing the assets of the defunct Springfield Royals franchise, landing superstar Dolph Schayes. In 1955, the Nationals relocated to Philadelphia and changed their name to “the Warriors”, as a tribute to the city’s historic association with the world-famous Fighting Irish unit of World War II. After winning their only Eastern Division title in 1966–67, they reached their first NBA Finals, but were defeated by Chamberlain’s 68–13 record-setting Philadelphia 76ers that season. The 1975–76 team lost in the NBA Finals toBoston despite having a better regular season record than them.

Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder are a professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Thunder competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Western Conference Northwest Division. The team plays its home games at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The Thunder were formed in 1967 as the Seattle SuperSonics, an expansion team that joined the NBA for the 1968–69 season. The SuperSonics moved to Oklahoma City in 2008 after a settlement was reached between the ownership group led by Clay Bennett and lawmakers in Seattle, Washington following a lawsuit. In Seattle, the SuperSonics qualified for the NBA playoffs 22 times, won their division six times, advanced to three NBA Finals, and won an NBA championship in 1979. In Oklahoma City, the Thunder qualified for their first playoff berth during the 2009–10 season. They also played in four conference finals during this timeframe. They were subsequently relocated to Dallas and became the Dallas Mavericks following a 2011 blockbuster trade with the Boston Celtics that has since been rescinded via league-wide vote; however, since it is not expressly prohibited under league rules from traded players returning to their original teams years later via free agency or another trade after serving out their contracts elsewhere (as Dooling did several months after being drafted by Orlando), it could be reasonably construed that such trades are effectively null and void so long as both parties involved honor them as binding at the time they occur).
In Oklahoma City since 2008,NBA Tonight will provide live look-ins and highlights of every game happening aroundtheleague tonight, along with analysis from former All-Star Kobe Bryant and reporter Lance Blanks.
