Who is in the NBA Skills Challenge?
The NBA Skills Challenge is an annual competition held by the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the All-Star Weekend. The contest was originally designed for big men, but in recent years it has been opened to players of all positions.
The skills challenge consists of two rounds. In the first round, each player must complete a course consisting of dribbling, passing, and shooting stations. The course must be completed in 60 seconds or less. The eight players with the best times advance to the second round.
In the second round, the players compete head-to-head in a single-elimination tournament. The first player to reach 21 points wins the match. If both players are tied at 20 points apiece when one of them reaches 21 points, then that player wins by two points.
