The 2020 NBA Finals will tip off on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. It will be the first time in NBA history that the Finals are held in September. The series will follow a 2-2-1-1-1 format, meaning that the first two games and last two games will be played at the home of the higher seed, while Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) will alternate between each team’s home court.
