What Was the Last WWE Pay-Per-View?

WWE’s latest pay-per-view was Survivor Series, which took place on November 22. The next PPV is TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, which is scheduled for December 20.

The Last WWE Pay-Per-View

WWE Pay-Per-Views are a series of professional wrestling events held by WWE. They are typically held once every two to three months on either a Sunday or a Monday night. WWE’s 2020 schedule featured thirteen events, with the most recent being WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

WrestleMania

WrestleMania is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced annually in late-March or early-April by WWE. It is the longest running professional wrestling event in history and is considered WWE’s flagship event, as it has been described as the Super Bowl of sports entertainment. The event consists of a series of matches involving wrestlers from established storylines and predetermined results. WrestleMania XXX was the thirtieth annual WrestleMania professional wrestling PPV event produced by WWE to be held, on April 6, 2014, at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event included matches such as The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt.

Royal Rumble

The last WWE pay-per-view was the Royal Rumble, which took place on January 26, 2020. This was a historic event, as it was the first time that both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches took place on the same night.

This pay-per-view also featured several other matches, including “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt challenging Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship, Brock Lesnar putting his WWE Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio, and “The Man” Becky Lynch defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Asuka.

The Royal Rumble is always one of the most anticipated pay-per-views of the year, as it sets up many storylines and potential matches for WrestleMania. This year’s event did not disappoint, and left fans eagerly anticipating what is to come next in WWE.

Survivor Series

Survivor Series is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held annually by WWE. It is considered one of the “Big Four” pay-per-views, along with WrestleMania, Royal Rumble and SummerSlam, as it is one of the original four WWE pay-per-views. The event was created in 1987 by Vince McMahon, then the WWF’s owner and promoter. It was originally called “The Survivor Series”, and has been renamed on three occasions: in 2001 to “Survivor Series: Judgement Day”, in 2003 to “Survivor Series: Bad Blood”, and finally in 2009 back to its original name. It is the second longest running pay-per-view event in WWE history (behind WrestleMania).

The Next WWE Pay-Per-View

The last WWE pay-per-view was Elimination Chamber. Elimination Chamber took place on February 25, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas Valley, in the unincorporated community of Paradise, Nevada. The event consisted of six matches, including one on the pre-show.

WrestleMania

WrestleMania is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced annually in late March or early April by WWE. It is the flagship event of WWE’s PPV calendar, which has been dubbed “The Showcase of the Immortals”. It draws more interest and generates more revenue than any other professional wrestling event held throughout the year. WrestleMania was conceptualized by WWE owner Vince McMahon and long time WWE ring announcer and Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. The name “WrestleMania” was chosen for the event in 1984; it has become synonymous with professional wrestling.

Royal Rumble

The next WWE pay-per-view is the Royal Rumble on January 26, 2020.

The Royal Rumble is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced annually by WWE, a Connecticut–based promotion. The event is named after the Royal Rumble match, a modified battle royal in which the ring is filled with wrestlers who draw numbers to determine the order in which they will enter the ring. The first wrestler to be thrown over the top rope and to the floor is eliminated, with the last wrestler remaining declared the winner.

The winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match earns a world championship match at that year’s WrestleMania event. The women’s Royal Rumble matches have been held since 2018 and originally had a similar concept to the men’s match, with the winner receiving a world championship match at WrestleMania; however, beginning in 2020, it was announced that both men’s and women’s Royal Rumble winners will receive world championship matches at WrestleMania.

In addition to the two Royal Rumble matches, several other matches are also contested at the event.

Survivor Series

The next WWE pay-per-view is Survivor Series. It will take place on November 22, 2020, at the ThunderDome in St. Petersburg, Florida. This will be the thirty-fourth event under the Survivor Series chronology. The event will feature WWE’s flagship roster of Raw and SmackDown.
