WWE superstar Shad Gaspard dies at 37
WWE superstar Shad Gaspard has died at the age of 37, authorities said.
Gaspard was swimming with his 10-year-old son at Venice Beach in Los Angeles on Sunday when they were caught in a rip current, Los Angeles County lifeguards said.
Gaspard’s son was rescued by lifeguards, but Gaspard was swept out to sea. His body was found early Monday morning.
Gaspard was best known for his time with the WWE as part of the tag team Cryme Time. He also had roles in movies and TV shows, including “Get Hard” and “Ballers.”
WWE superstar Hana Kimura dies at 22
WWE superstar Hana Kimura has died at the age of 22, the organization confirmed on Friday evening.
Kimura, who was a part of the cast of the MTV reality show “TERRACE HOUSE: TOKYO,” was found unresponsive at her home in Tokyo on Friday, May 22, 2020.
“STARDOM wrestling is shocked and saddened to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away,” STARDOM said in a statement on Twitter. “Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends in this difficult time.”
Kimura’s cause of death has not been announced.
WWE superstar Perro Aguayo Jr. dies at 35
Mexican lucha libre star Pedro Aguayo Ramirez, better known as Perro Aguayo Jr., has died at the age of 35.
Aguayo was in the ring with fellow luchador Manik during a AAA Worldwide show in Mexico City when he took a bad fall and appeared to land awkwardly on his neck. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

WWE superstar Chyna dies at 46
Former WWE superstar Chyna, real name Joanie Laurer, has died at the age of 46.
“It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic news that Joanie Laurer, known to the world as Chyna, has passed away,” a statement from her manager Anthony Anzaldo read.
Anzaldo said she was found unresponsive in her Redondo Beach, California, home on Wednesday and authorities believe she died several days ago. A cause of death has not been determined.
“She was truly a pioneer in our industry,” WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon said in a statement. “She will be missed.”
Chyna was one of the most famous and popular wrestlers in the late 1990s and early 2000s and was billed as “the ninth wonder of the world.” She became the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble match in 1999 and was also the first woman to hold the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
