primetime games
The NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the only television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football. The NFL Network provides eyewitness coverage of all NFL events, including live coverage of regular season and postseason games, original programs such as A Football Life and America’s Game: The Super Bowl, plus exclusive access to the biggest names in football.
NFL RedZone
RedZone is an American sports television channel owned and operated by NFL Network. As a “charter” cable-only channel, it originally launched on November 20, 2006, and primarily focused on airing live game coverage of football on Sundays during the NFL season. Since 2019, however, RedZone has increasingly carried live game simulcasts during the early-afternoonwindow on Sundays outside of the NFL season; as such, it is now effectively a 24/7 network.
Coverage during the pre-season generally features “playback” of previous encoded games shown on NFL Network; however, some exceptions are made to show live game coverage of other events such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game and Canadian Football League’s Grey Cup championship game.
Sunday Night Football
Sunday Night Football is the only primetime NFL game of the week. It airs on NBC at 8:20 pm ET.
