What’s the longest field goal in NFL history? We did a little research and found out that it’s 64 yards!

The current longest field goal in NFL history is 64 yards, set by Matt Prater of the Denver Broncos in 2013.
The players tied for the longest field goal
There have been a number of players who have kicked field goals of 63 yards or more in NFL history, but the record for the longest field goal is currently shared by a few players. The first player to kick a 63-yard field goal was Jason Elam, who did it for the Denver Broncos in 1998. In 2011, Sebastian Janikowski tied Elam’s record with a 63-yard field goal for the Oakland Raiders. In 2013, David Akers tied Janikowski’s record with a 63-yard field goal for the San Francisco 49ers. Most recently, in 2018, Matt Prater tied the record with a 63-yard field goal for the Detroit Lions.

The teams with the most field goals in NFL history are the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers, and the Miami Dolphins. The Cowboys have made 1,275 field goals, the Packers have made 1,240 field goals, and the Dolphins have made 1,239 field goals.
