Although Green Bay is by far the smallest major league professional sports market in North America, Forbes ranked the Packers as being worth $1.02 billion as of 2015.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional American football team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) East division. They are Super Bowl LII champions, having defeated the New England Patriots 41–33 in Super Bowl LII.
In 2018, the Eagles posted a regular season record of 9-7 and finished second in the NFC East. They defeated the Chicago Bears 16-15 in the Wild Card round of the playoffs before losing to the New Orleans Saints 20-14 in the Divisional Round.

The Packers are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys for second Super Bowl wins with five; they trail only Pittsburgh, who have six.
The Packers have thirteen members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as of 2020: bronzed busts of founder Lambeau and fellow Hall of Famers Hornung, Taylor, Griffing, Davis, White, Hutson, Nitschke, Krameremil Knechtel Sr., Lombardi; plus wooden honoreesring Harris Jr., Robinson Sr., Starr and Woodson; plus senior committee inductees Silbaugh and Wolf. They also hold a nearly nationwide fan base stretching from Portland, Maine to Honolulu, Hawaii.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.
The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium. An original member of the American Football League (AFL), the Patriots joined the NFL in the AFL–NFL merger in 1970. The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Foxboro Stadium from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of 2002.
The Patriots have appeared in ten Super Bowls in total, winning six of them – all under head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. They are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos for second most Super Bowl wins with six apiece, behind only the San Francisco 49ers’ five Super Bowl victories. The team owns the record for most consecutive conference championships won with eight, which includes five consecutive AFC Championships from 2011 to 2016 (preceding Super Bowl LI), and three consecutive AFC East division titles from 2014 to 2016. The Patriots have won 14 division championships overall, more than any other team in the NFL as well as nine conference championships.
